-At Mary Webb Science College.
Oak Class have been designing ping pong ball launchers in an attempt to fire balls not only as far as possible, but also for specific ranges, by adjusting the angle of the launch pad. The winning team competed against other Y5/Y6 teams at Mary Webb on Friday. It was great fun. Well done to Minsterley for coming first your design was amazing!
A second challenge- as it was Red Nose Day- was to build a catapult that would fire Maltesers as far as possible. All I can say is that the birds at Pontesbury must have had a lovely chocolate feast last Friday, after we had all gone home! A big thanks to Mrs Mould and her team at Mary Webb for hosting the event during STEM week.
