It is one of the most nonplussing condition for many parents while talking about the selection of independent boarding schools. Opinions run quite high on both sides but those parents who are in favor of these independent schools think that the benefits far outweigh the drawbacks. For those parents who are working in armed forces, and most of their time they used to be on duty to want their children to be settled in one place for their schooling. An independent school provides a stable place of education with a lesson plan and teachers that won’t change constantly.
These best independent schools are primary and secondary schools which have their own governance and finance standards. These schools generate their funds from the tuition fees and from other charges. Board of directors are totally governing their work structure. Some independent school have boarding facilities and some have religious affiliation.
Independent schools always give preference to the improvement of their students subjects percentage and their living standards. Those teachers who are teaching here are getting good salary, and they deserve it because they also give their hundred percent in shaping their students future.
While boarding schools have to compete for children and tend to offer excellent facilities for their students extra curricular activities such as horse riding and sailing. Class sizes are small and so teachers get a lot of individual attention and this helps greatly with their learning. Since from the film Harry Potter, boarding school has actually become a more exciting dream for many children as it is appearing cool and fun thing to do.
The old image of these schools was of children not leaving for their homes until the holidays, but many children nowadays actually go home on their weekends. Now parents are also encouraged for visiting school for events such as concerts, swimming galas and plays.
